Opening MNPRX scenes with Flair

While still in its infancy, Flair is a big generational leap from MNPRX.

For a smooth transition from MNPRX to Flair, make sure to follow these steps when opening stylized scenes.

  1. Load Flair into the viewport (click GLOB in the shelf)
  2. Open the scene stylized with MNPRX
  3. Upgrade the ShaderFX to Flair materials when prompted
  4. Save the ported scene as a different scene file
  5. Continue working as normal

<aside> ⚠️ If Flair is not loaded before opening an MNPRX scene, Maya will crash

Loading Graph styles

To start using styles generated with the Flair graph, you will need to either change the style to Graph in the Globals node or choose the (default) style preset or a style with g_ as prefix.

<aside> 🌟 When loading the Flair graph for the first time, a network access prompt appears, please grant permission as this is needed for Maya to communicate with Flair.
